Give your child the gift of music with our engaging 12-week beginner music courses for children aged 7 to 14 years
(Key Stages 2 & 3).
Our courses will allow your child to develop their musical interest and skills in singing, guitar, violin or piano… from beginer level in a relaxed, group setting.
Developing your child’s musical abilities
Small group learning creates a supportive and engaging environment where children can build confidence, develop teamwork skills and enjoy music together.
Aimed at providing a solid musical introduction for your child to get comfortable with their instrument and then to embark on a future of one-to-one music lessons at Music House.
Across two blocks of 12 week sessions, our tutors will deliver small group lessons to bring your child from beginner to intermediate level.
We will provide all the instruments OR if prefer, you can bring your own.

PIANO
The piano is a fantastic way for children to improve focus and develop co-ordination. If your child is curious about music or dreams of becoming a pianist, this course provides the perfect foundation in a fun and encouraging setting.
Your child will learn…
- Basic keyboard skills and hand positioning
- Playing simple melodies and chords
- Building confidence in rhythm and timing



GUITAR
The guitar is a fantastic way for children to express themselves, develop co-ordination and improve listening skills. Whether they dream of playing in a band or just want to strum along to a favourite song, this course is the perfect start.

- Playing simple songs to build confident
- Developing rhythm and finger coordination



Violin
The violin is a beautiful instrument that enhances focus, patience and dexterity. Learning to play the violin is a great way to develop motor skills while creating melodies.

- How to hold the violin and bow correctly
- To play simple melodies and basic techniques
- Develop rhythm and listen with a musical ear



Singing
Singing is an incredible confidence booster. It encourages self-expression, improves communication skills and helps children find their unique voice in a fun and supportive environment.

- Vocal warm-ups and breathing techniques
- Singing with confidence and expression
- Preforming fun songs in a supportive group setting
One-to-One
Once your child has competed their course of introductory group lessons, Music House has one-to-one lessons available for them to continue to develop their talents that we can signpost you to.
