Music House is a registered Charitable Trust – we have a passion to make music accessible to everyone in our communities.

Our space is unique – every person has equal opportunity to access music, singing and learning for pleasure.

A creative hub where the people in our local communities can come together to enjoy shared interests and have the confidence to change their future through a love of music.

There are many ways in which you can support our work – one being a  donation.  If you would like to make a one-off / regular donation – we would be extremely grateful. Please click here to find out more

CHARITABLE AIMS:

We believe in breaking down barriers to accessing music in our community by working with different groups and audiences in Leeds:

  • choirs and singing groups
  • global majority segments
  • disability networks/special education needs students
  • seniors — retired, living in care homes or assisted living
  • theatre/drama groups

Our outreach programme has allowed us to take music and singing lessons out in to our communities.. We work with schools in deprived areas where budgets are not available to provide music teachers.

We aim to engage with a wide range of groups: old or young, those with physical or learning disability and the socially excluded.

SUPPORTING YOUNG TALENT:

WE ARE:

Inclusive

Every person in Leeds regardless of background or socio-economic factors should have equal opportunity to participate in music and singing

ACCESSIBLE

Affordable pricing  for lessons and room hire means that no person is excluded and every person is treated equally and fairly

FUN

Music and singing should be enjoyable and uplifting so that people can build confidence and creativity

EMPOWERING

We believe people build their self-esteem through positive interaction with others
