This group is suitable for people interested in the classical repertoire.

Our individual keyboard classes can be tailored for all ages, from junior to senior.

Music Theory Lessons
We offer a group Music Theory lesson each week for those up to grade 5
Held on Thursday evenings at the YCMD between 6pm and 7pm.
The teacher for this group music theory class is Matthew Lazenby
An invaluable class for anyone wishing to know more about the theory of music.

Music Listening and Appreciation
A group lesson looking at some of the finest music ever written
Each week we will listen to a piece of music and then discuss the piece. With an opportunity to ask questions and understand more about some of the finest music ever written.
Topics will include:
• Learning about the composers lives
• Why they wrote
• Background to the pieces
• Listening and score reading skills
An ideal class for those studying for exams, or just for a more in depth look at music and composers
